Brontë Sorotsky joined NBC Connecticut in August 2026 as a reporter.

She began her career in Pittsburg, Kansas, and has since reported from communities across the country. While working in Spokane, Washington, Brontë earned an Emmy nomination for her coverage of the 2023 Spokane County wildfires. Most recently she worked as a reporter and anchor in Savannah, Georgia. 

Brontë is a native of Los Angeles, California, and earned her degree from San Francisco State University. She is excited to call Connecticut home and looks forward to telling the stories of the people and communities across the state.

When Brontë isn’t reporting, you can find her at a spin class, cooking, spending time at the beach, and most importantly, spending time with her cat James, who she found while reporting on a story!
