Hay 754 nuevos coronavirus en Connecticut y 68 nuevas muertes desde el jueves.
Eso eleva el total a 10,538 casos y la cifra de muertes ahora es de 448.
Hubo un aumento de 98 hospitalizaciones desde ayer. Eso está a la par con lo que el estado ha visto toda la semana. Podría ser una señal de que el estado está comenzando a aplanar la curva. Actualmente hay 1.562 personas hospitalizadas con COVID-19 en Connecticut.
El viernes, el estado dio a conocer detalles sobre casos de coronavirus en hogares de ancianos en todo el estado.
Según el Departamento de Salud Pública del estado, entre los 215 hogares de ancianos en Connecticut, 96 (45%) han tenido al menos un caso confirmado de COVID-19. Hay un total de 980 residentes de hogares de ancianos con COVID-19 que han sido identificados. De ellos, 264 (27%) fueron hospitalizados y 142 (14%) murieron.
